Microblading, also known as eyebrow embroidery, is a makeup procedure gaining popularity due to its amazing and dramatic results. Microblading is especially appealing lately, given the beauty trend for thicker, more shapely brows.
Microblading is very effective at bringing contour and definition back to the eyebrow without the classic “eyebrow tattoo” look.
Contoura Facial Plastic Surgery is proud to be the only medical office in North Florida and Southern Georgia that performs this procedure in a safe and controlled manner under the supervision of a double board certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.

How is Microblading performed?
On the day of your microbladiing procedure, pre-procedure photos are taken before you relax in our Aesthetician suite. Our highly trained aesthetician will carefully mark out the eyebrow lines and confer with you the area that will be enhanced. Numbing cream is applied and allowed to sit for a short time before starting the procedure. The whole process takes 1 ½ -2 hours and the results are immediate!
How long do the results last?
Generally speaking, as this is a semi-permanent tattoo of the brow, the duration of the results last anywhere from 12-18 months. On a rare occasion, a patient may have thicker skin necessitating a “touch up” procedure. Our aesthetician will explain this in detail on the day of the procedure.
How long does healing take?
Virtually no time at all! The results are immediate and while there may be some mild swelling for a few days, most patients are presentable the same day. The color may intensify early on, but by 3-4 days, the color will blend in very naturally.
